Deepa English Primary School is a public service oriented school. The school's motto 'Knowledge is Liberation' is the cornerstone around which the character and personality of every child is built. The seeds of Deepa Montessorie was born in 1980 with the blessing of Swami Shri Shivanandji Saraswati and his true disciple Shri Ramratanji Chandak.
Takhatmal English Primary was established in the year 1982 with classes 1 to 7 in Volkart Compound. Subsequently classes from 8 to 10 were added and the school was named as Takhatmal English High School
A new School was incorporated at Sai Nagar from July, 2000, Deepa English Primary School. Since July 2009, Junior College has been added with Takhatmal English High School at Sai Nagar.
Takhatmal English High has been incorporated since 2010 with the Primary Section at Volkarta Compound. At present the total strength from 1 to 12 is 2187 with a team of energetic teachers striving to mould the children as per the continuous comprehensive system education.

The object of education is to prepare the young to educate themselves throughout their lives. Many a time we are beset by the question: How much of learning is education, and how much is information? There have been many opinions on the best way to educate children, and to sift information from education, but none conclusive enough to enable educationists to implement tools to really home in on what constitutes education; and provide it in ample measures to the insatiable curiosity of children.
But at Deepa English School, we have reasons to believe that irrespective of what makes for education, the prime aim of the teacher is to keep the child interested, with plenty of knowledge and lots of information, if it will help keep the flame of curiosity burning. And that is exactly what our teachers do, with modules designed to make the child think and question the whys, the wheres and the hows of everything they learn.
